I have been rewatching the series Boardwalk Empire and during one of the episodes they had a Irish tenor singing one of my most favorite songs. I think the best rendition of it is sung by Van Morrison with The Chieftains, but this is a rather lovely take on it. The song is Carrickfergus sung by Louden Wainwright lll.
As long as were in Ireland, here from Northern Ireland is Snow Patrol with Crack The Shutters.
Now to Alabama for some old school R&R with the 1977 album by Lynyrd Skynyrd with I Know A Little.
